Andrew Polk was born and raised in Berkeley, California. He attended Tufts University after which he received a Fulbright Scholarship to train as an actor at London's Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his career by playing Epstein in the National Tour of "Biloxi Blues" by Neil Simon. He has since made numerous appearances in television, film, theater and commercially. He is perhaps best known for his work in the films Love Is Strange (2014) and The Humbling (2014) and appearances on The Good Wife (2014), 30 Rock (2009), Person of Interest (2014) and many other shows. In theater he is known for his work at The New Group in New York and as an Associate Artist at A.C.T. in San Francisco.Andrew founded The Cape Cod Theatre Project where he was the Artistic Director for 17 years. Andrew is also a teacher, teaching at NYU, AADA and privately. Andrew recently wrote a new television series that is currently in development with Beech Hill Films. He lives in Brooklyn with his beautiful family.

Norman Oppenheimer is the President of New York based Oppenheimer Strategies. His word-of-mouth business is consulting work largely in American-Israeli business and politics, that focus due to being Jewish. Most of that work is as a fixer: doing work that others don't want to do and with which they don't want to be officially associated. In reality, Norman is a shyster, and not a very good one at that. His office is comprised of his cell phone and whatever is stuffed in his satchel which is usually slung over his shoulder as he wanders the streets. What he promises is making connections, setting up a meeting between his guy and the other guy. Generally, "his guy" is non-existent, he dropping names of people he usually doesn't know to make connections. A usual tactic he uses is to say that his deceased wife was personally connected to so-and-so, such as being a babysitter, those stories always untrue. All he needs is for one of the people that he approaches to believe a story to build ...

Family living under one roof in New York must deal with a life-changing transformation by one that ultimately affects them all. Ray is a teenager who has come to the realization that he isn't meant to be a girl and has decided to transition from female to male. His single mother, Maggie, must track down Ray's biological father to get his legal consent to allow Ray's transition. Dolly, Ray's lesbian grandmother, is having a hard time accepting that she now has a grandson. They must each confront their own identities and learn to embrace change and their strength as a family in order to ultimately find acceptance and understanding.
